ترجمه مطبوعاتی

تا همین چندی پیش، استفاده از گوگل ترنسلیت برای ترجمه یک مقاله یا مطلب، نماد عدم تسلط فرد به زبان انگلیسی بود و از ارزش و اعتبار او و کار ارائه شده اش کاسته می شد. اما با گسترش هوش مصنوعی، هرچه قدر هم اصرار کنیم که خودتان ترجمه کنید، خودتان بنویسید فایده ای نداشته و استفاده از آن برای ترجمه بسیار گسترده تر شده است. پس حال که خواه ناخواه از این ابزار استفاده می کنید، برخی نکات را حتما رعایت کرده تا حداقل شما ابزار و بازیچه ترجمه هوش مصنوعی نشوید و او را به عنوان ابزار خود در کنترل داشته باشید.

در اینجا یک مثال و چند نکته با هدف بهبود کیفیت بهره‌برداری از ترجمه مطبوعاتی می آورم. اگر نکات و یا پیشنهادات دیگری هم هست پیام بفرستید تا به نام خودتان در ادامه اضافه کنم.

به معنای در تنگنا قرار دادن است. اخیرا مقاله ای را در یک کانال تلگرامی می‌خواندم که همین عبارت را به اشتباه "روی پای خود نگه داشته است" ترجمه کرده بودند. فکر کنید خواننده چه برداشت متفاوتی می‌کند یا چقدر گیج می‌شود. البته تذکر هم دادم ولی تغییر ندادند. دقیقا مثل همان سامانه آتشبار، که به باتری ترجمه شده بود و قبلا در همینجا هم به آن اشاره کرده بودم، همچنان کم و بیش ترجمه می‌شود. امیدوارم جنگ اوکراین تمام بشه دیگه شاهد تداوم استقرار باتری ها نباشیم:) بهانه ای شد تا به عنوان یک نکته آموزشی و برای یادآوری، در ترجمه مطبوعاتی، مواظب ترجمه مقاله ها و متون با استفاده از گوگل و هوش مصنوعی و اصطلاحات یا expression. عبارت ها یا phrase و همینطور واژه های تخصصی یا jargon باشید. اگر از هوش مصنوعی یا ترجمه گرهای دیجیتال استفاده می‌کنید:

-️ یکبار اصل مقاله انگلیسی را بخوانید. سعی کنید مفهومی درکی از هر پاراگراف پیدا کنید. اگر زبان محلی است، ابتدا آن را به انگلیسی برگردانید و یکبار آن را بخوانید.️

- واژه ها و عبارت هایی که جدید است را برای خود یادداشت کنید.

- سراغ متن فارسی بروید و ببینید چه معنا شده است. اگر با مفهومی که از پاراگراف‌ها یا عبارات برداشت کرده‌اید همخوانی ندارد، این‌بار خودتان آن پاراگراف را ترجمه کنید.‌

- در مورد واژه ها هم همینطور . اگر کلمه ای در ترجمه هم‌خوانی ندارد از کنارش رد نشوید. در مرحله بعد، متن فارسی را ویرایش کنید. حداقل، آن چیزهایی که نشان می‌دهد متن با گوگل ترجمه شده را درست کنید (مثل کلمه ای از جمله که بعد از تمام شدن جمله و نقطه آمده است. باید آن را در جای خود در همان جمله برگردانید و یا بازنویسی کنید. یا ارقام سال که جابجایی می‌شوند)

- در مورد متن‌ها و پاراگراف‌هایی که به موضوعات مهم برای ما برمی‌گردد، اصلا به متن ترجمه شده بسنده نکنید. دوباره خودتان آن را ترجمه کنید. هر واژه یا اصطلاحی که به‌کار رفته در آن ریز شوید و با وسواس عمل کنید.

- دقت را فدای سرعت نکنید. در نهایت آن را به عنوان یک خواننده یا دریافت‌کننده مطلب بخوانید و ببینید چه ایراداتی دارد.. اگر جاهایی نامفهوم است سعی کنید مشکل را با ترجمه کردن دوباره و ویرایش درست کنید. اگر هم نمی‌شود اصرار به امانت داری در ترجمه به اصطلاح تحت اللفظی آن نداشته باشید. مفهومی که از آن پاراگراف برداشت کرده اید خودتان بنویسید. البته اگر جمله در رابطه با ایران است و یا بخش مهم مطلب است، حتما تا آخر چه با مشورت با سایر مترجم ها یا سوال دقیق تر و جداگانه از هوش مصنوعی، یا با تحقیق در مورد موضوع در اینترنت، تلاش کنید به نتیجه برسید.

امیدوارم که شاهد کمتر شدن ردپاهای لخت و آشکار ترجمه گوگلی و هوش مصنوعی در ترجمه مطالب و مقالات دریافتی و تولیدی باشیم و بتوانیم از این ابزار تسهیل‌کننده در فهم و بهره‌برداری از مقالات، واقعا به عنوان یک ابزار و نه جانشین ترجمه خودمان استفاده کنیم.

همزمان با آتش بس موقت بین اسرائیل و حزب الله، حمله ناگهانی گروه های مخالف دولت بشار اسد به سمت حلب و بعد دمشق آغاز شد. تحولات سوریه آنچنان به سرعت اتفاق افتاد که مطالب و مقالات رسانه ها هم از آن جا می ماندند و هنوز مطلبی منتشر نشده بود که تغییرات جدید آن را از ارزش می انداخت. کسانی که نقشه تحولات سوریه را برای رسانه ها و شبکه های اجتماعی ترسیم می کردند نیز تقریبا خواب نداشتند و مدام مشغول اصلاح آن نقشه ها بودند.

لارا روزن روزنامه نگار آمریکایی جمعه گذشته و در حالی که حمص در توضیح تحولات سوریه، پیشروی سریع نیروهای مخالف بشار اسد و روند سقوط آن، در تیتر مقاله و ابتدای مقاله خود، از نقل قولی از کتاب خورشید همچنان می‌درخشد ارنست همینگوی استفاده کرده بود.

برخی واژگان در انگلیسی معنای خود را به خواننده القا می کند اما در زبان فارسی، تنها همان معنای اولیه و برداشتی که عموم دارند را در ذهن می آورد. بنابراین در فهم و ترجمه این نوع واژه ها باید دقت کرد.

یکی از آنها واژه battery است که در پست چند ماه پیش نیز به عنوان یکی از واژه ها به آن اشاره شد اما با توجه به اینکه تکرار این اشتباه در ترجمه مطبوعاتی مربوط به سامانه موشکی تاد که اخیرا آمریکا به رژیم اسرائیل هدیه کرده، این بار با توضیح بیشتری به آن می پردازم. باتری در زبان فارسی تقریبا همگی آن را به عنوان همان باتری (باطری) یا قوه که وسیله ای که انرژی شیمیایی، گرمایی یاخورشیدی را به الکتریکی تبدیل می کند می شناسند و جا افتاده است. اما این واژه از BATTER به معنای ضربه زدن می آید و در متون انگلیسی معانی مختلف نظامی، حقوقی، دامپروری و ورزشی دارد و باتری که ما در فارسی به کار می بریم تنها یکی از این معانی است.

اما دلیل اینکه به این واژه پرداختم، مشاهده استفاده اشتباه از باتری به جای معنای متفاوت آن در متون مطبوعات و مقالاتی است که به رویدادی نظامی تسلیحاتی پرداخته است : اگر مطالب و مقالات مربوط به تحولات مربوط به جنگ اوکراین را خوانده باشید، این واژه را در زمان اشاره به سامانه موشکی پاتریوت بارها دیده اید. و یا همین اخیرا و در جریان انتقال سیستم موشکی تاد آمریکا به اسرائیل، در اخبار و مقالات مختلف این واژه را می بینیم. ترجمه درست آن بجای واژه باتری، آتشبار، یا سامانه پدافندی (ضد هوایی) است. استفاده از باتری در خبر و متن فارسی جز به بیراهه بردن ذهن خواننده و کاستن از ارزش ترجمه چیزی به همراه ندارد. پس دقت کنید! هیچگاه از باتری در زمان اشاره به سیستم های پدافندی و موشکی استفاده نکنید.

به معانی باتری در وبستر نگاه کنید. معنای دوم و سوم آن در حوزه نظامی و معنای چهارم آن همان معنای باتری مصطلح می باشد!

با توجه به تحولات اخیر واژه هایی که این روزها در مطبوعات و رسانه ها زیاد به کار برده می‌شود و در مطالب رسانه ها به چشم می‌خورد را با مثال هایی که در مطبوعات به آن برخوردم می‌آورم. البته تعدادشان زیاد است اما اینها دم دستی بودند که یادداشت کرده بودم . برخی از آنها خیلی ساده هستند و برخی دیگر معانی متفاوت و شاید دور ازذهن دارند. برای مثال battery است که اگر معنای نظامی‌اش را ندانیم ترجمه بی‌ربطی از آب در می‌آید و برخی از آنها گاه معانی متفاوت و دور از ذهنی دارند.. مفید برای ترجمه مطبوعاتی:
