از میان 500 واژه انگلیسی که در کتابی به همین نام مطالعه کردم، تعدادی را، هم به لحاظ اینکه برای اول بار یاد گرفتم و یا اینکه معانی دیگر آن برایم جالب بود را جدا کردم ( ده درصد مجموع واژه های مهم اشاره شده در آن کتاب ) و در اینجا برای استفاده خودم و دیگران گذاشته ام. البته با توجه به فصل امتحانات بعضی ها! امیدوارم که بتواند مفید واقع شود.

capricious: دمدمی مزاج، هوسباز a capricious person often changes their mind unexpectedly.

prone: متمایل، مستعد adj. likely to do sth. Prone position: وضعیت درازکش

prompt: برانگیختن، به فعالیت واداشتن، سریع کردن، آماده v. to cause sth to happen; to do quickly; to be on time

frail: سست، نحیف، شکننده adj. weak in health or in a body (fragile)

absurd: یاوه، نامعقول adj. clearly false, without reason (ridiculous)
Confidentially, I think his suggestion is absurd. They are absurdly irrational about the issue.
enact: به صورت قانون درآوردن، وضع کردن (قانون)، تصویب کردن to pass a law
Congress enacted the legislation during its last session. The enactment of the law is in the hands of the Parliament.
elude: اجتناب کردن از، طفره زدن از to escape in a tricky way (evade)

arbitrary: adj.1 an action or decision made with little thought, order, or reason : Her choice of clothing seemed arbitrary. 2 showing unlimited power without taking account of other opinion: An arbitrary decision against the workers.
discern: v. to see sth clearly: It is often difficult to discern the truth in newspapers.
discernible: adj. noticeable; easily seen: A feeling of anxiety was discernible among the members of the team. (Syn: ascertainable)
vibrant: adj. lively, powerful, full of action, bright (Syn: brilliant)
His vibrant personality made him well liked by everyone. The vibrancy of the city is attractive to many individuals.
rudimentary: adj. 1 including the first stage only; simple; not complex (Syn: basic)
He has a rudimentary knowledge of computers. 2 undeveloped: rudimentary wings.
